Description

This festive pomegranate gin and champagne cocktail, made with citrus juice and elderflower liquor, is perfect for your next celebration!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce pomegranate juice
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounces champagne simple syrup (see notes)
  • 1/4 ounce elderflower liqueur
  • Garnish lemon twist, pomegranate arils (seeds)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Seal and shake hard for 20 seconds.
  3. Pour into an ice-filled coupe glass or glass of your choice and garnish with a lemon twist.

Notes

To Make the Champagne Simple Syrup:  Take equal parts champagne and sugar (I used 1 cup champagne and 1 cup sugar) and add to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and let it simmer until all the sugar is dissolved and the liquid has started to thicken, about 3-5 minutes. The syrup can be refrigerated in a glass jar for up to 1 month. If you need to store it longer, it can also be frozen.
